q             Ensure parts are kept clean.
q             Do not alter shape
q             Removing and installing → Chapter
6 - Fuel rail
q             Fuel pressure regulating valve -N276- is screwed into fuel rail for cylinder bank 1
q             Fuel pressure sender -G247- is screwed into fuel rail for cylinder bank 2
7 - Seals
q             Renew
8 - Banjo bolt
q             25 Nm
9 - Connecting piece
10 - High-pressure pipe
q             From high-pressure pump
q             Ensure parts are kept clean.
q             Do not alter shape
q             25 Nm
11 - High-pressure pipe
q             From fuel rail on opposite side
q             Ensure parts are kept clean.
q             Do not alter shape
q             25 Nm
12 - Bolt
q             22 Nm
13 - Fuel return lines (from injectors)
q             The fuel return lines must not be dismantled; if necessary they must be renewed complete with pressure retention valve.
q             After replacement, engine must be run at idling speed for approx. 2 minutes to bleed fuel system. Then check fuel return lines for leaks
14 - O-ring
q             Renew
15 - Bolt
q             5 Nm
q             Cover for injector on cylinder head cover
16 - Clamping piece
q             If they are to be re-installed, the injectors and clamping pieces must always be re-fitted on the same cylinder.
q             When an injector is renewed, the corresponding clamping piece must be renewed at the same time
